Dear Voxya Resolution Team,
I am filing this complaint to formally report illegal and unfair trade practices by the merchant Crossbeats (listed on my statement as CROSSBEA*******).
On ** April ****, I placed an order for a Crossbeats projector amounting to INR **,***.**. Within just * hours of placing the order, I submitted a cancellation request. However, the merchant arbitrarily and unfairly denied this cancellation.
Subsequently, when the delivery was attempted on ** April ****, I explicitly refused to accept the package. The merchandise was returned to the sender, and I have attached proof from the courier company confirming the rejection and return of the shipment.
Despite the fact that the goods were never delivered to me, Crossbeats is citing an invalid "no refund" policy to hold onto my money. Retaining customer funds without providing the product or service constitutes unjust enrichment and is illegal.
I have initiated a chargeback dispute with ICICI Bank and received an interim credit, but I am escalating this to Voxya to expose these unethical business practices, hold the merchant accountable, and ensure the chargeback is made permanent.
