RedBus - Request for Refund Due to System Glitch Ticket

I am writing regarding my booking with Ticket ID TTDH******** dated December **, ****. During the booking process, I selected "Pune" as the source and "Arvi (Maharashtra)" as the destination. Based on the available options, I chose Ram Tours and Travels because its drop-off location showed only "Arvi," without clarifying it as "Arvi (Dhule)."
However, upon reaching the pickup point, the bus operator informed me that the bus was heading to "Arvi (Dhule)" instead of "Arvi (Wardha)." This caused significant inconvenience. I immediately contacted your customer support team, who acknowledged the issue as a potential glitch on RedBus's end and assured me that the issue would be reviewed.
I would also like to highlight a critical observation:
When I booked the ticket on December **, the option for "Arvi (Wardha)" was not visible in the app. Instead, only "Arvi (Maharashtra)" was displayed. After I raised the issue, the filtering system on the RedBus platform was immediately updated, and the option for "Arvi (Wardha)" was added. This sudden change further proves that there was indeed a glitch in the system at the time of my booking.
As a frequent traveler and a loyal RedBus user, I have trusted RedBus to provide reliable service over the years. However, this experience has left me feeling deceived. Your team initially acknowledged the issue and assured me of assistance, but instead of resolving it, I feel I have been let down and ignored.
This situation caused me:
Financial loss of ₹****.
A wasted leave day due to miscommunication between RedBus and the bus operator.
Stress and inconvenience caused by poor service and lack of resolution.
Action Requested:
A full refund of ₹**** to compensate for the loss caused by this glitch.
Clear communication regarding the process and timeline for resolution.
I trust RedBus will prioritize this matter and take corrective action promptly. Failing this, I will have no choice but to escalate the matter to consumer grievance forums for further review.
