I have ordered OnePlus **R *G phone from Amazon which was priced at Rs.*****/- on **th Sep ****, delivered on **th Sep ****. When I opened the package I was shocked to notice that instead of OnePlus mobile phone, it had just an empty box of Samsung S**. I immediately filed a complaint but Amazon asked me to wait for **th Sep **** as they started investigation.
When I contacted them on **th Sep, they simply refused to help saying that the product was delivered through OTP so we can neither provide you refund nor replacement for it. I requested them to re-start the investigation and provided them the un-boxing video which I created while opening the package. But they are repeatedly saying that since the product was delivered through OTP so the actual/correct product was delivered to me.
I am not sure whether the package was tampered or not as it was fully sealed with Amazon's tape and it had my name & address slip fixed on the package and so I received it. Now, Amazon is saying if you got the tampered package you should have not accepted it. But my point is as the packing was intact with tape and name slip so I was convinced the package is not tampered. Also the courier boy told me that it has come from Amazon and he is delivering as it is. Inspite of this assurance, I made the un-boxing video and I shared with Amazon but they are denying replacement or refund.
