Jitesh Adwani filed complaint against Make My Trip on May 25, 2021
Hi Team,
My name is Jitesh Adwani, reaching out to you regarding a refund amount (total INR ***) which is pending with Make My Trip for by domestic Indigo airline bookings (Bangalore to Bhopal, dated – ** May ****):

Initially, I had paid INR **** (**** + *** i.e. booking amount + convenience charges) for each booking when I booked it from MakeMyTrip portal. Later on, I had to change the dates of my flight and had to pay an extra amount on Indigo website. Details of the excess amount paid is as follows:
PNR <THPFGF> - Extra amount paid is: ***, making the total fare of flight as INR **** (**** to MMT and *** to Indigo)
PNR <PH*B*S> - Extra amount paid is: ***, making the total fare of flight as INR **** (**** to MMT and *** to Indigo)
Before one week of travel, the flight got cancelled due to operational reasons from Indigo and they confirmed over the call that they have initiated the complete refund for both of my bookings. Indigo mentioned that I would be receiving some amount directly in my wallet and the remaining **** for each booking would be coming from Make My Trip. Hence, after few days, I received the following amount directly in my bank account from Indigo:
PNR <THPFGF> - amount received from Indigo is INR *** (remaining **** to come from MMT)
PNR <PH*B*S> - amount received from Indigo is INR *** (remaining **** to come from MMT)
On **th May, MMT processed INR **** for each of my bookings, however I have not received INR *** for each of my booking (Total – INR *** for both bookings). I have followed up with MMT customer team *-* times and they have confirmed that INR *** amount is pending over an email (please refer to email chain) and they would be processing in *-* business days. However, every time they have closed the request saying that we have refunded INR **** for each booking (please note that MMT is not looking into INR *** which is pending and closing the request without confirming it with me).
I spoke to Indigo Team and they have confirmed that they have processed INR **** for each booking back to Make My Trip team on **th April. I tried bringing the Indigo team and MMT executive on the same call today (** May ****, at * PM) so that MMT doesn’t deny the refund and can expedite the process however, in the middle of the call, MMT executive disconnected and jumped off the call. Indigo team did share the transaction ID of one refund (Transaction ID for THPFGF PNR – *********) but before they could share the transaction ID of another refund (for PNR PH*B*S), MMT executive went off the call.
I am failed to understand how MMT is looting its loyal customers and providing such inefficient and pathetic services to them. Ideally, its MMT job to bring Indigo and Customer over the same call and try to resolve and close the matter however, not only they have failed to do so but ran off the call when the customer tried to expedite the process.

My two years of blood & sweat got valued finally with Voxya. I got a full refund with no hustle after they received notice.
