Meghmala Bhattacharya filed complaint against Make My Trip on Oct 22, 2017
On *nd of June this year I had booked a flight from Kolkata to London through MakeMyTrip, which I had to eventually cancel on the **st of June due to visa rejection. The company website said that refund process would be initiated and that I would be updated within the next three working days, which the company failed to do apart from an email which said that my cancellation request had been initiated. After sending repeated emails and phone calls in the consequent days I was first told to wait for seven days, and then for a period ranging from **-** days. This I duely waited but MakeMyTrip had still failed to update me or even start my refund process. After this period I went through yet another series of phone calls and emails and was told to wait for yet another period of **-** days.
Now this seems to me utterly harassing and illogical considering the company's initial claim that refund would be started in three days and then taking it forward to ninety days. It is now more than four months since this entire episode has been started and still the company fails to refund my money.
This is a matter concerning an amount of Rupees **, *** and a huge disgrace to a company that boasts of grand repute,
