Bhanu filed complaint against Cleartrip on Jan 13, 2021
I booked a return flight with Cleartrip. One-side of the journey was made successfully but because the return flight was on **th March ****, it was cancelled because of the COVID-** Pandemic.
I contacted Cleartrip to get my refund, and on **.**.**** I was told that I can use my ticket as an open ticket i.e. can use it to book my return flight (provided certain conditions). On **.**.**** I contacted Cleartrip to rebook my flight using this open ticket. But I was told that my refund status is still pending. So I had to book a new flight separately. After filing a complaint with Airsewa, on **.**.**** I got an email that my refund has been processed and I will get the money back in my mode of payment account. But guess what, I haven't got any money back yet. So, I called Cleartrip on **.**.****, Stating that I haven't received any money. The Support Agent, told me that from their end, transaction is processed and they will call me back on **.**.**** with a URN number to track my payment with my bank. Can you guess what happened next? Right, I never got a call back, instead I got an email from Cleartrip, that they could not process my refund and want my account details including my personal details like Date of Birth, Place of Birth, so that they can transfer me the money back :) . Can you imagine needing such personal details for making a Bank transfer :).
Till date I have contacted them several times and I get no response from them. It has been nearly * year and I have not got my refund yet.
