Booked airline tickets via Makemytrip on **.**.**** from Hyderabad to Houston via Dubai (Onward-**.**.****, Return-**.**.****). The Makemytrip Booking ID: NN*************.
On **th Mar ****, received email from makemytrip that flight is cancelled due to COVID-**. I have requested for ticket cancellation and got Cancellation Request Confirmation
Reference Number - INR***************** and refund will be initiated in *-** working days, on ** Arp ****. Since, then there is not further correspondence from Makemytrip. Further in their app, it indicates that it will take up to ** days for refund. Now its been more than **days and there is no update from Makemytrip, their local office is shut, their customercare service neither connects to their executive nor gives status of refund and suggests to check in theri app, the App Chatbot still says to wait for ** days, . They do not provide email id. This is a clear case of hoodwinking and misguiding the customer.
