Makemytrip india Pvt Ltd - Makemytrip REFUND Fraud

unjustified deductions from my flight refund, despite the airline itself cancelling the flight and promising a full refund.

I had booked * flight tickets for my family from Srinagar to Mumbai (Flight Akasa Air QP-****, PNR: ODV*WH) scheduled for ** May ****, through the MakeMyTrip platform. The total amount paid was ₹**,***.

Due to the war situation in Kashmir, the flight was cancelled by Akasa Air, and the airline officially communicated that all passengers would receive a ***% refund without any deductions.

However, MakeMyTrip refunded only ₹**,*** and deducted:

₹*,*** as Discount Adjustment

I believe these deductions are completely unfair, especially considering:

The cancellation was from the airline’s end, not mine.

No service was rendered, hence a convenience fee is unjust.

The discount was applied to a cancelled service; I’m not seeking future credits or coupons.

Additionally, I made multiple calls to MakeMyTrip customer support, waited on hold for extended periods, and received no human assistance. Their website also lacks any visible or accessible contact form, making it extremely difficult to reach them, which amounts to poor and evasive customer service.

I request your kind intervention to help me get the remaining ₹*,*** refunded, and to hold MakeMyTrip accountable for such unfair trade practices.
