I booked an OYO on June **nd Saturday morning. it was *** rupees but after adding Oyo money and HDFC card discount, I got it for *** rupees. By afternoon i get a message saying that due to unfavorable circumstances the booking has been shifted to a nearby hotel. This was fine because i was tired from a long journey and needed to rest. Then they shifted the oyo thrice like this to different hotels. Finally i got a silverkey oyo. I called the customer care and they ensured that i neednt pay extra.when i reached there they demanded to pay **** because according to them i hadn't paid. When I had called OYO before and after reaching the place they had ensured that I need not pay anything extra. But the Silverkey manager told us that Oyo hadn't paid and asked us to cancel our booking. I didn't check in as well as cancel the booking, because if I did so they would take the charge as last minute cancellation amount. I called their customer service a million times, all I got was apologies and statements similar to previous comments that they had paid for the hotel which was a lie. Its been over a day I am calling,mailing them and all I get is we are looking into it, we have raised an issue ma'am kind of replies . Nobody is calling me back. No proper response on Oyo assist in the app too. Every time a new guy calls and I had to explain all of these again to him. I have done this over *-* times in the past ** hours .All I want is a refund for the amount i spent. I don't need the Oyo money they can keep it. But I have the right to get back my *** rupees since I was made to run from places (which has also cost me money) to another and didn't get any service too. Finally I was a lady stranded on Bangalore looking for an accommodation at the last minute. I don't know if they did this because I was a lady whom they thought would not go too far with this or do they treat all the people who pay less for a booking. Because seriously we never asked them for this huge a discount. But when they are giving it atleast they should show some dignity. Please help me with this issue. Oyo cheats a lot of people like this.
