Guru filed complaint against Oyo on May 15, 2026
I booked a room in Oyo for two guests at a hotel called supermoon red moon residency elite at porur, chennai. I already paid the amount of Rs **** in the oyorooms app and once paid it shows a pending amount to be paid of Rs**** and nowhere was it mentioned that such an amount should be paid while booking. It showed that the booking is still on hold and not confirmed unless I paid the pending amount and the booking is non refundable as I had done it less than a day before. Once this happened I tried calling customer service and they kept redirecting the call to other numbers and I ended up not speaking to anyone. Once I told them about the matter they blocked my number and I could never contact them after that. I tried calling the respective hotels number soon after and they told me that the booking had not been confirmed and it did not concern them at all.
This is a very concerning issue and I require the refund ASAP
