I placed an order of * items from Purplle on **.**.****, delivered on **.**.****. Out of these, * items were delivered in damaged and unusable condition:
*. Mars Ink Pen Eyeliner (₹***) — already opened, plastic wrapping missing, branding faded.
*. Maybelline Fit Me Foundation (₹***) — seal broken, foundation spilled all over the delivery box.
*. Mars Blush Hour Liquid Blush (₹***) — no seal/plastic wrap, product spilled inside the box.
Total refundable amount: ₹*** (as per Purplle’s own system).
I immediately raised multiple return/refund requests, but Purplle rejected them each time without justification. Their messages falsely claim my images “do not meet guidelines,” even though I uploaded clear photos showing the damage and packaging.
I also contacted customer service, but they refused to help. One associate even told me:
“Once rejected means it will never be approved no matter how many times you request a return.”
This is completely unfair and against consumer protection rules.
To make matters worse, the return window closes on **.**.****. I raised my return requests within the window, but Purplle is deliberately rejecting them so they can later deny refund by saying “return period expired.” This is an unfair trade practice.
Relief Sought
A full refund of ₹*** to my UPI ID/bank account for the * damaged items.
Written confirmation that this refund has been processed.
An assurance that such arbitrary “once rejected = always rejected” policies will not be applied to me or other consumers in future.
