Dear Voxya Team,
I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against redBus for failing to process my refund despite repeated follow-ups over several days. Below are the details of my case:
*. Booking Details:
Date of Booking: **th March ****
Travel Date & Time: **th March ****, *:** AM
Route: Salem to Palakkad
Bus Operator: SMS Travels
Boarding Point (as per redBus app): Salem New Bus Stand
Actual Boarding Point (as told by operator): kondalapatti buypass
*. Issue Faced:
On **th March ****, I called the SMS Travels operator to confirm my boarding location.
The operator informed me that the bus would not arrive at Salem New Bus Stand, as mentioned in the redBus app.
Instead, I was asked to reach a different boarding point ** km away, which was not feasible.
Due to this incorrect information, I had to book another bus at an additional cost.
I immediately contacted redBus customer support, and they assured me that I would receive a full refund.
*. Failure to Process Refund:
Since **th March ****, I have been repeatedly following up with redBus through chat.
They initially promised a refund within ** hours, but no refund has been processed as of today (**th March ****).
Each time I contacted support, they kept extending the timeline by ** hours, without any resolution.
Screenshots of my chat with their support team are attached as evidence.
*. Request for Resolution:
I seek a full refund of my ticket amount since I was unable to board due to incorrect boarding point details provided by redBus.
Compensation for the inconvenience, additional travel costs, and wasted time in following up.
This incident has caused me a lot of stress, and redBus' repeated delays in refund processing are unacceptable. I request Voxyas intervention to resolve this matter at the earliest.
My two years of blood & sweat got valued finally with Voxya. I got a full refund with no hustle after they received notice.
