Anshumalee Banstola filed complaint against Amazon India on Nov 20, 2022
A month ago, I had placed an order for a smartphone through amazon app. I made the payment in advance through my credit card. But the order is not delivered yet.
I have followed up with amazon team since a month, but they have not initiated any proper investigation on the matter, nor I have received the refund.
I feel cheated by Amazon India, and I am extremely frustrated by their response from customer service team.
The facts of the matter are as follows:
*. I had placed an order for a smartphone (Order ID: ***-*******-*******) on **th October to be delivered on **-Oct.
*. On the delivery date, I could not be available at the delivery location to collect the order. My friend had called the delivery guy from the saved alternate number informing that there was no one at the delivery location to collect the order.
*. Despite this, the delivery guy mentioned on the call that he delivered the product to someone in the surrounding area (not in the exact address which is Hotel Prakash Inn). He also mentioned that someone shared OTP with him which is not possible at all since I HAD NOT SHARED OTP WITH ANYONE.
*. The delivery guy also mentioned that someone called him over the phone to collect the product. When I asked if he could share that phone number he said he deleted the contact, which sounded very suspicious. I can't understand how your delivery personnel can handover the product to a random person without OTP.
*. I have not received any support from Amazon India team to investigate into the matter.
I am very pleased with Voxya. They helped me resolve my issue without much hassle. Very impressed and satisfied.
