Chintamani Bharati filed complaint against Videocon D2h on Oct 28, 2020
Hello Sir/Madam,
I, Chintamani Bharati have Videocon D*H Connection (Account No. *********) (Registered Mobile Number: **********) residing in Pune, Maharashtra, India. I want to permanently disconnect my Videocon D*H account as I am permanently shifting and not going to use it anymore. Also I don't want to transfer my account to anyone else. I want to permanently deactivate the account and also handover the set top box and dish to the Company Videocon.
I have call their customer care many times. One of the executive told me that permanent deactivation is not possible and also told that temporary deactivation option is there in which they will charge customer every month. If a customer do not want to use the service anymore how come they are charging it and why they are forcing to use the service. This is fraud. Also one executive told me to give the service to some other relative or to sell it somewhere. But why would a consumer sell the service or give it to relative if he DO NOT WANT TO AVAIL THE SERVICE ANYMORE.
One of the executive came at my home and assure that he will take away the set top box and dish antennae I asked him to provide a receipt of acknowledgement which he strongly disagreed and said there is no such formality or option in Videocon to provide any receipt for taking the instruments. It was again a big fraud. Later he started asking for money Rs.*** for coming to my place and for disassembling the dish tv antennae. I said I wanted to discontinue the service the how come you are charging for discontinuation/ deactivation. A very fraud business ethics from Videocon D*h. Also all the executives says same thing no procedure for deactivation or termination that means customer is a life time customer once he buy their service and they may charge adhoc later this is a unethical business ethics and policies which they are using. Also everyime they will keep on calling to recharge the Videocon D*h even though I have told I am not using and to deactivate the service. Later I am going to file a consume court complaint on them as this is frustrating to the customer. If a customer don't want to use any service he has the right to stop the service and the company has to deactive/terminate the service. In no ways customer has to pay for such deactivaitions. Also they haven't done any lifetime agreement with customers. This is a FRAUD BUSINESS going on by Videcon D*H. Everyone should highlight this !!!
Please accept my request of permanent disconnection asap and provide acknowledgement for the same.
