I ordered a Samsung ssd from amazon worth Rs. ****. Instead received an empty package worth nothing. I contacted the customer service
via chat and was told to wait * days for some investigation and i accepted.
I have never in my life contacted any customer service either on Flipkart nor amazon until this time.
After the investigation was started, the next day i found out that the upper portion of the bag contained tape that was hidden by the two upper flaps of the bag. I hadn't noticed until the investigation started as i teared the bag from side and not from top.
I made a video at that point, showing the taping coming of from top of the bag.
I was unaware of where to send the video and the new details as investigation was ongoing from amazon. So i posted it on twitter along with photos.
After investigation was over, i was told that amazon had concluded that package was delivered intact.
Hearing this, i immediately contacted them again stating the above facts that the bag was taped and tampered with and i asked them to start a fresh investigation based on the video and the facts i provided.
But i got awful responses from amazon.Since then i have been literally begging on social media and their e-mails. Again getting the same reply that package was delivered intact and we cant re-investigate the matter.
I went in Facebook and Instagram too trying to say the same thing again and again and asking at least to re-investigate the matter. But my god! Nothing.
I have literally begged them to at least see the video and photos i have posted for gods sake.
Again i was told the same statement that "we can do nothing about it. The investigation is done and our word is final". Without any evidence and without paying a heed to the video proof i shared, that is what i was told again and again.
I never posted on my social media before but amazon made be beg in their comments, posts and emails. I have never in my life received such humiliation and trauma.
Why the hell would i go to such lengths had i received the damn product?
I am a student. Losing this much money over nothingness is not a luxury i can afford.
We are desperate and frustrated but that does not mean you should humiliate your customers without even listening to what they say.
I am comeplled to file a complaint here, as amazon has shut all the doors for me and my money is plundered.
