I had booked OYO Townhouse OAK Armeria, Lucknow for the stay of **th May to **th May. I had booked the room ** days in advance and made the full payment already. One day prior to check-in on **th May, I had called the property owner and informed him that I shall do my check-in on **th late night after ** pm.
However, when I reached the Hotel I was denied any Room. I had my UPSC CSE Exams the next day for which I had booked the Room. I was denied the services and it was of tremendous pain/trauma for me at the last moment. I had to walk several kilometers along with my father at night to get temporary accomodation in the night. This was certainly not expected from OYO. I raised the query to Customer Support and except for a refund of the booking amount nothing has been done till now.
What is my concern now: I would like to know what is the action/penalty that you are taking towards the property owner. Furthermore, I would like to be compensated for the mental disturbance/trauma which I suffered.
Its clearly deficiency of services on part of OYO.
