Deepak Pal Singh filed complaint against Samsung on May 7, 2022
Poor customer service by Samsung shop and subsequent intimidation of my aged parents by Samsung Partner. Highlights:
- I purchased a washing machine worth Rs. **,*** from Samsung India website on **-Apr
- I checked the physical specifications of the machine when placing the order but the onsite Samsung Service Engineer was not able to fit it through the bathroom door because of the front door protrusion. The specifications of the machine on Samsung website do not take into account the Front Door protrusion so I couldn't have known it in advance. - The Samsung Engineer left the machine in original packing and asked us to get in touch with Samsung shop which I did on **-Apr
- The customer care has failed to process a simple return or even provide an ETA since, despite escalations to Samsung Service Head and Samsung CEO. Instead, a Samsung Partner made an intimidating call to my parents suggesting the return will take weeks/months and it would be better if my parents could get the machine into the bathroom door through a different mechanism (like taking the door off) or have it fitted elsewhere in the house
- My father walks with a stick due to severe arthritis and a washing machine taking up unnecessary space in the house doesn't help. My parents are also without a washing machine and are unable to buy one until the refund has been processed
