I've booked a room at New Ascot Hotel, Kochi, Kerala, India on **th April ****, for * days, and paid an amount of ₹****. After checking in to the room, I found that the room was very unhygienic & non-sanitized, with full of dust and torn-off bedsheets, pillows, etc. I've informed it to the hotel management and they were not ready tk resolve the issue. Within ** minutes of check-in, I vacated the room. But the authorities were not ready to cancel the booking and to give a refund. When I contacted the customer care, there was a lot of delay, and they were unable to resolve the issue. So, I stayed in another hotel that night and contacted the hotel on **th to cancel the booking. After a number of calls, they have cancelled it and and amount of ₹*** has been credited to my account, against cancellation. So, I've lost ₹**** for the mistake from OYO/Hotel.
