Complaint Details:
I booked interior services with HomeLane on ** nov **** by paying a booking amount of ₹*****. Later, I decided not to proceed with the services.
Even i request them like for the booking amount i am ready to buy accessories but then refuse.
However, HomeLane refused to refund my booking amount and is forcing me to purchase furniture worth ₹*.* lakh in order to adjust the booking money.
This condition was never clearly communicated at the time of booking. Forcing a customer to compulsorily purchase furniture in order to recover their own money is unfair trade practice, coercion, and unethical business conduct.
Relief Sought:
Refund of my booking amount of ₹***** in full.
Action against HomeLane for adopting such unfair trade practices.
Compensation for the mental stress and harassment caused.
