Sankar Ramanjeri filed complaint against Byjus on Mar 26, 2025
I enrolled my child, Dhaswin R, in the Byju’s program in April **** under a five-year plan (LKG to *rd Standard). The program was supposed to provide study materials and mentorship for five consecutive years. However, Byju’s has failed to fulfill its commitment, providing services for only two years (UKG and *st Standard) until ****, after which all services stopped.
Initially, Byju’s delivered books, shared study plans via email, and assigned a mentor for monthly performance reviews. However, for the past two years (**** and ****), no books have been delivered, and the program is not running as per the agreement.
I have contacted Byju’s customer care multiple times regarding this issue. Each time, I was informed that books were out of stock, but no further updates or resolutions were provided. This has caused significant disruption to my child’s education.
Since Byju’s has failed to deliver the promised service, I demand a full refund along with applicable interest for the lost years of service. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will be forced to take legal action.
Relief Sought:
Full refund of the amount paid for the five-year plan.
Additional compensation for the disruption caused to my child’s education.
Immediate action to address the lack of service and communication.
Request for Resolution:
I request Byju’s to either provide the complete service as per the agreement or process my refund immediately. If no action is taken, I will escalate this matter further through legal channels.
