Tried booking a flight, Pune-Kolkata, on Sept *, **** through UPI on EaseMyTrip (EMT). The booking failed ut the amount git debited from my HDFC Bank A/C. It's now ** calendar days that I am communicating unsuccessfully with EMT for my Refund. The excuses by EMT so far has been the following ---
*. First off, they denied receiving the amount. When I mailed them proof from their own Bankers (Axis Bank) that they have indeed recived the amount, they agreed.
*. Then EMT said that they can refund ONLY into a "Wallet" that I can use for future bookings. I refused, since I am not a frequent flyer (I am ** years old). EMT is still insisting on a "Wallet" refund.
*. Now EMT says they are unable to connect to my Cell phone (+** ***** *****) for resolution. When the wholw world is able to connect to my Cell phone, I am unable to understand EMT's problem of communication.
I got my refund. You guys have really helped me when I needed it the most! Thanks again for your help :-)
