I made a booking with Cleatrip last ** October **** (* round trip tickets from mnl to hkg for myself, my mom and my sister) i called them after couple of days to apply for cancellation (**th october) and full refund as my sister had met with an accident which resulted to a major surgery hence she cannot go with us anymore. They gave me an instruction to get the refund directly from the airline as this airline is offering a full refund for medical reason (cebu pacific air). After submitting all the documents necessary, i received a confirmation thru email last November ** from the airlines that the amount of php ****.** (****.** rupees) was refunded and was sent back to cleartrip account. I just have to notify them (cleartrip) so that they can arrange the refund back to my account. THhe same day i sent this confirmation email to cleartrip via ctdocuments@cleartrip.com as instructed by one of their customer support agent, and this agent told me that he will get back to me in * hours. Until now, after calling and chatting with customer support almost everyday, i still have yet to receive the refund. Ive dealt with most of their customer support team. All of them said the same thing (i understand your concern and apologies for inconvenince, please wait for our call **-** hours as we have to review your case and verify it from the airline)
This is not the only problem i had with them. Right after i made a cancellation request for my sister’s roundtrip ticket. They also mistakenly cancelled the outbound flight of my mom and myself without my authorization or my request. (The cancellation was made **th october, i have the details what went down because it was in cebu pacific records which was read to me by cebu pacific agent. The booking was cancelled by sachin.dhamansakar@cleartrip.com and requested for full refund back to cleartrip’s account) I only accidentally found it three days prior to our flight as i was on a conference call with cleartrip agent and airline agent because i was asking about how much will i pay for if i want to add baggage allowance. The airline agent confirmed that the booking was cancelled by cleartrip. The agent from cleartrip went all panicky and dropped the call. Ive dealt with * agents and still no one is taking it seriously. It was only resolved by their supervisor * hours before the flight. Imagine if i didnt find out at all. I believe that this company is a fraud else they have a very poor customer support team.
