I had made an order from behrouz biryani on Nov **, **** on Zomato for an amount of Rs. ****.** /-. The payment was made through google pay at Nov **, **** **:** pm and the payment went from my account. But in zomato the payment was incomplete so we contacted the customer care number that was provided in the zomato app and confirmed the order was not received for my number.
And also we checked through zomato chat option provided by you in the app confirming the payment was not received by zomato on Nov **, **** **:** pm and the confirmation was given from zomato chat that the refund will occur in * working days. This confirms that the payment went and order was not confirmed and money will be refunded.
I went on to order from a different vendor and we received that order.
But the zomato order got confirmed at Nov **, **** **:** pm which we had already concluded that order was not confirmed from zomato and behrouz biryani at Nov **, **** **:** pm and behrouz biryani sent out the order for delivery.
This made us decline the order and the food was not received and I explained the situation with behrouz biryani. And I contacted zomato customer executive and explained the same as mentioned above which they indicated to convey by sending an email to the support group.
The above statements and events explain that the fault was not from our side for declining the order, it is due to the miscommunication and late acceptance of the order from zomato for behrouz. I have attached the screenshots for witnessing the facts.
So, kindly refund the amount of Rs. **** /- as soon as possible from zomato that we paid through Gpay for the order number: **********. I am attaching the payment and order details from zomato.
