Easemytrip - Money got debited Easemytrip never gave the ticket

I had booked a ticket from Mumbai to Delhi on **/**/**** on EaseMyTrip website. I had paid via net banking an amount of ₹****. The amount got debited but I never received my ticket. ON following up EaseMyTrip first claimed the amount wasn't credited by the bank. I got confirmation from the bank that indeed the amount was credited into their account and I even provided them with the transaction id proof which they accepted.

Now out of the blue they sent me a ticket from Ghaziabad to Kolkata of a certain Ms. Rahamani which I never booked. Upon repeated followups over email and phone numbers they refuse to resolve the situation and give my refund. In fact they have accepted that my phone number does not match with the booking ticket they claimed was made by me.

For the past * week they have been claiming I will get a resolution on email in ** hours. But that email never arrived. The people on the customer care helpline are just clueless and keep on repeating I will get a resolution in ** hours.

I have a bigger issue here. How can they claim I booked a ticket of another person who I don't even know. Isn't this bordering on criminal offense making these false claims.

I want my money to be refunded ASAP, otherwise I will be forced to file an official complaint in the consumer court and seek appropriate damages.
