Dear team,

I have an issue with my honeymoon package due to which I am being embarrassed now by friends and family.

I have been chasing MakeMyTrip customer support from August **** for a resolution on my Honeymoon Package Booking ID NL*************.

This booking was originally for Apr **, ****, but I was diagnosed with COVID on Apr **, **** due to which we had to reschedule. However, this was already covered under Corona cover plan with the package and I also have confirmation documented over email from MakeMyTrip.

I had already paid *,**,*** (full amount) for this booking up-front. The solution that was provided to me was an open date change. But, later after multiple follow-ups and around the time of reschedule (Aug-Sep), I was informed that I have to pay extra for the difference.

As Travel destination was closed due to government guidelines on COVID, either of below scenarios should have happened:

*. They should refund the total amount
or,
*. They should give an open date change without any tariff differences. Since, all the amount was paid upfront.

I am ok to have it scheduled to another date without paying the fare difference.

I had asked below questions but I never got a response on these :
Question *. Why are you asking extra if everything was paid upfront when no other travel partner is doing that? Please advise.

Question *: I have also been requesting to speak to a live person to no avail. All I hear is someone will call back but I never received any call from you guys - why is that happening?

Question *: What is the email to escalate it to a "much higher" level?
