I had booked a local cab via MakeMyTrip (MMT) for *th Sep ****, *:** AM. As per the booking, I was informed that driver will be allotted ** mins before the service. I had placed this booking a day in advance as I needed this for my ** year old son's commute in my absence. On the day of need, *:** AM, I checked the app to find the driver not assigned yet. I waited a few minutes and called customer service. After waiting for * mins, a driver was assigned by *:** AM. Things took a worse turn when I called the driver at *:** AM and was informed that he will take another ** mins. I called the customer service and they informed me that the driver can take ** mins to arrive. I found this contrary and not inline with the MMT pricing for this service.MMT charges by the hour and expects me to book ** mins in advance and indirectly is making money by this devious means!
