Samsung - Misleading claim made by samsung led to a loss

I bought a Samsung S** Fe on **th October ****. Samsung claims that the phone comes with IP** rating, which says that if the phone is in water for ** minutes there has to be no issue in it.
But unfortunately my phone was in water just for ** minutes and it got dead.
For the same I reached out samsung care and after multiple complains they are asking me to pay a hefty amount of Rs ***** after providing a discount of **% on the repair.
This is really foulplay by the company and i am totally mentally frustrated now. Please help me to get me phone repaired free of cost as it was the company's responsibility after making such IP** rating claim.
