Makemytrip.com - MakeMyTrip No Baggage Information

It is regarding our flight from Bangalore to Perth via KL on **st Nov '**.
Yesterday, we booked our tickets (* person), via makeMytrip, where baggage info was not available. Based on our previous experience for Malindo flight booking via MMT, we always did get check-in baggage, even if the info was not available.
Now, MMT is telling us, there is no check-in baggage nor meals for this flight.
But when we were booking our tickets, we got options to select for meals too, which after booking, they mentioned we don't have meals.
Then when we checked in Malindo website, it is shown, this is a "SuperSaver" ticket of Rs. *****, while the economy one is Rs. *****. (Difference, ****/-).
When I have called MMT customer care, and asked them why super saver without lugguage is not displayed in the site like they do for other flights Indigo, Air Asia etc, where you have option as "cabin baggage only" fare or check in baggage fare.
They mentioned, you can go and buy luguage now from Malindo website which will cost me (****+****) + meal charges extra.

As this is an issue at their end for not mentioning details properly in their site, I asked them to upgrade our tickets to the higher economy Rs. ***** per person which has **kg baggage + meals (As shown in Malindo Airlines). They told I have to pay around *****/- extra to upgrade it, as we have to bear all the penalty, MMT charges, etc.

My question is, if from beginning we wanted baggage + meals and we were given * flight options Rs. ***** (super saver) and Rs.***** (**kg baggage+meals), we would have definitely choosen *nd option.
THEN WHY MAKEMYTRIP SITE DIDN'T SHOW THIS INFORMATION????
AND BECAUSE OF THEIR ERROR WHY WE WILL BEAR THE PENALTY!!!!!!

Also they have mentioned now, that, you should have checked with the airlines first.
If we could have checked with the respective Airlines then WHY MAKEMYTRIP EVEN EXIST???
MMT IS OF NO USE THEN!!
We can directly go and book the tickets from airlines, right.
So, MMT, EITHER REFUND WHOLE OF MY MONEY BACK or UPGRADE OUR TICKETS to higher economy (We are ready to pay the difference amount but NOT THE PENALTY).
