Kushal Mehta filed complaint against Cleartrip on Jan 3, 2021
Had airline tickets for * passengers - air india from Dehradun to mumbai, but flight was cancelled due to covid lockdown. Cleartrip cancelled only * ticket first instead of cancelling both tickets. Amount deducted was only Rs. *** for first ticket which is fine. I had raised issue with Cleartrip as to why only * passenger ticket was cancelled instead of * and asked them to refund charges for *nd ticket too. On second ticket, Cleartrip has deducted Rs. **** in name of airline charge and Rs. ***+*** of convenience charge. I have checked with airline directly and they have informed that I am eligible for full refund without any deduction because of covid lockdown reason as per govt. order. Not clear why Cleartrip has deducted these charges. I have not received any valid response from cleartrip on the same and customer care is not responding and addressing the issue at all. Is extremely frustrating to deal with Cleartrip.
