Make my trip - Fraud by Make My Trip

We have booked the tour package for Srilanka for * people (* senior citizens, * adults of ** years and * kids below ** years). On **th Nov (yesterday) have received a call from MMT Travel partner from ‘**********’ and informed me about the flooding situation across Srilanka and also recommended me to connect with MMT team on customer support and check about the situation. Have contact my booking RM name Anju about the situation and get me the confirmation if it’s safe and MMT will be able to fulfill all the commitments given in the itinerary. After that have got few calls from people claimed they are Anju’s seniors name Deepanshu, Sarita Wadhwa, Garima Anand. Garima Anand confirmed us that the situation is not so good for travel that’s why we have decided to go for cancellation and not to take any risk considering my old age parents and kids are also traveling with us. Have requested Garima to confirm if will get the full refund or if can change the booking dates etc. as it was couple of hours before the flight was scheduled I.e. we have started discussing around *:** (IST), but even after so many email exchanges we were not provided with any assurances that travel is safe or refund process. Have been asked again and again to confirm that do I want to cancel my bookings or not etc but no assurance if the travel is safe and MMT will be able deliver as per what was promised in the itinerary . Over the call Garima Anand also said that MMT team will try to get the maximum refund but in the form of vouchers and have requested the refund in same form in which the money was given to MMT for this booking. At last very surprisingly, an email from Garima that they are closing the request and there will be no refund at all and if will not go for this trip it will be considered as ‘No Show’. This was very sad experience that just to make money MMT is ready to put customers life in danger. I would request to please help me to get the refund as it is my hard earned money and can’t afford to lose. I have the email chain as an evidence and what’s chat with my booking RM as evidence can be provided anytime required.
