Make My Trip - Flights cancelled by airlines and no refund

I had booked * business class tickets from Mumbai to Montpellier on *st Feb **** for my senior parents with a travelling date of April *th **** and return back from Montpellier on June *th ****. Both these sectors got cancelled and hence these flights were cancelled. I much ahead of time tried to contact the airlines to find out the status with no reply and hence i have kept mailing them. Finally a month after the flight cancellations, they picked the phone and confirmed that i will get the refund of the money in a month and i have the recordings for the same. Post a month, no reply and i called them again and once again they promised the money should come but no reply. Finally i see now on their site that they have given me a credit note, but forcing me that i have to booked the same class and same passengers and now due to health issues my parents cannot travel in the next * months which leaves me with no option but to allow them to cheat me of my money!!!!!! The least i could expect is either for the money to be returned or allowed to be used as a true credit note which means on any passenger and any number of times since that legally is my money!!
