Ashish filed complaint against RELIANCE DIGITAL on Aug 10, 2021
Purchased new branded water purifier from Reliance digital and within month of purchase it started showing problem. First the tab had leakage which was resolved by technician using some jugad. Then after *-* days the filter change indicator started blinking and eventually the filter stopped working. Service request was raised in resq for getting the issues resolved. First technician didn't understand the problem and closed the issue without resolution. I called him up for followup abd he falsely stated that part is not available and will take *-* days. After * days when I called him then he stated that his superior has asked customer to file complaint for technician visit. This was surprise as I had already had servi e request. I connected to resq customer support where they connected me to service manager who raised second technician visit on my behalf. Second technician came again with no spares and he identified the issue but unfortunately had no spares to install. He contacted his superior and informed about the issue to which he responded that now water purifier company should solve the issue since this is under brand warranty.
Brand person called me and stated that since the purifier is purchased from Reliance we do not cover warranty and my visit charges will be chargeable. This wad shock to me since the Reliance service manager clearly stated I did not need to pay anything. *-* days passed in this with total of ** days passed now.
Finally I had to visit store and need to inform them about the incident and they assured me action will be taken.
This is one of worst incident as I am still waiting for the incident to be resolved and false service managers still not sure about the resolution.
