Pranjal Singh filed complaint against Vivo India on Aug 10, 2018
Vivo India allegedly was to run a flash sale on its website from *th August to *th August ****, starting everyday at ** NOON (PM) offering items on discount on a first come first serve, until stock lasts basis.
I have been successful to participate in the sale but once the item was added to the shopping cart, Vivo India would not respond and in order to complete the transaction would not allow the victim to LOGIN. Without logging in, the item in cart cannot be ordered.
SO even when the victim (that is me) was succefully able to place the item in cart, due to programming manipulation and website manipulation the order finally can not be placed.
I have picture as proof of the same.
This is a case of false marketing where item alleged item is actually not available at the discounted price. On the contrary due to the marketted discounts the website was able to arract free promotions as various media outlets covered the alleged sale.
Surrogate marketing without offering anything at sale.
