Eureka Forbes and your technician “Aquaguard Srinivas” (mobile no. ***********) for serious misconduct, fraud, harassment of my elderly mother, and complete failure of service over the last four months.
In January ****, we raised Service Request No. CM-******-******** for cylinder change and AMC payment. When the technician arrived on **th January, he forcibly grabbed my mother’s phone, cancelled the official booking himself, changed the cylinders, and forced her to pay ₹*,*** directly to his personal account. We have clear proof of this payment. From the very next day (**th January), the machine started leaking heavily. Despite this, no proper repair was done.
Later, on **th March ****, we raised another complaint (CM-******-********), but the same technician cancelled it without doing any work. Again on **th April ****, under Service Request No. CM-******-********, he forced us to cancel the booking and took another ₹*,*** to his personal account. In total, he has taken ₹*,*** from us illegally. Because of him, no official AMC was activated, and our Aquaguard machine has remained spoiled and leaking continuously for the last four months. We have video proof clearly showing water leaking from the tap area even now.
On **th April ****, the same technician came with his friend and argued with my elderly mother in a threatening tone, causing her immense stress and fear. He and his associates have also been calling frequently from different numbers and harassing her. This is completely unacceptable. Is this the kind of ethics and safety Eureka Forbes provides to elderly women in India? Forcibly snatching a phone from an old lady, threatening her, taking money to personal accounts, and leaving a defective machine for four months is not customer service — it is harassment and fraud.
We demand the following immediately:
• Full refund of ₹*,*** (with interest) paid to the technician’s personal account.
• Immediate proper repair or replacement of the machine and activation of genuine AMC at no extra cost.
• Compensation of ₹**,*** for the mental agony, harassment, water wastage, and four months of inconvenience caused to my elderly parents.
• Strict action against technician Srinivas and his associate, including blacklisting them from our area.
If this matter is not resolved within * days, we will be forced to file a police complaint for cheating, harassment, and criminal intimidation of an elderly woman, and also approach the Consumer Court for deficiency in service and unfair trade practices. We have all the proofs — service request screenshots, payment details, Truecaller identification, and the video of the leaking machine.
I expect your immediate acknowledgement and urgent action on this serious issue.
