Make My Trip - EMI gets debited despite cancellation of booking

I made a booking with MMT in December ****, and we got in touch with the Manager of the resort we booked, he told us that he hasn't received the booking and that the resort has been closed, and it was a false booking. We had to cancel the booking and since the payment was done by our debit card on EMI, MMT canceled our booking and assured us that the EMI won't deduct by confirming that the refund has been processed from their end. But that didn't happen, instead every month our EMI got deducted, and we have been in touch with them every month ever since, and customer support just keeps telling us it will be resolved in ** hours and then nothing, they email us that the request has been resolved and we called you multiple times, and we don't receive a single call. We're frustrated and tired of this. We really want our hard-earned money back from them and we have been patient and compliant to all their terms and did everything that they told us to do. Now I just want our refund back.
