On **th October, I booked * flight tickets from Delhi to Mumbai through your platform. During the booking process, I applied a discount coupon for HSBC Travel One Credit Card, which offered a ₹*,*** discount. The total payable amount displayed on the payment page was ₹**,***, and this same amount was shown as the Total Paid Fare on the booking confirmation page immediately after payment. However, when I downloaded the e-tickets, I noticed that the fare reflected was ₹**,***. Upon verifying my HSBC credit card statement, I confirmed that ₹**,*** had indeed been charged—₹*,*** more than the confirmed amount. When I contacted your customer support team, I was informed that the “BIN was invalid.” This explanation is unacceptable, as the system had accepted the coupon, applied the discount, and displayed the reduced fare at the time of booking and confirmation. If the BIN was invalid, the coupon should not have been accepted, nor should the discounted fare have been shown as the final payable amount. Despite multiple follow-ups, this issue remains unresolved, and the lack of a satisfactory response has caused me mental distress and inconvenience. This situation constitutes misleading pricing and deceptive business practice, as customers are led to believe they are receiving a valid discount, only to be charged a higher amount later. I request that the ₹*,*** excess charge be refunded immediately and that appropriate corrective measures be taken to prevent such incidents in the future.
