I, Dibyendu Chowdhury, am filing a complaint against Porter, a logistics and transportation company founded by IIT alumni, for their unprofessional and fraudulent services, which have caused me, my *-year-old child, and my pets significant distress and inconvenience.
Incident Details:
On March **, ****, I inquired about packers and movers services on Porter's platform. Despite initially declining their offer due to higher prices, I was persuaded by their executive to book the service on March **, ****, with a promised discount and assurance of hassle-free service and paid *** in advance for booking as they said.
Issues Faced:
*. *Delayed Communication*: Despite repeated calls, Porter's customer care failed to provide vendor details until ** minutes prior to the scheduled booking time.
*. *Last-Minute Cancellation*: The assigned partner called me at *:** pm to inform that the service would not be provided on the scheduled day.
*. *Unwillingness to Take Responsibility*: Porter's executive, Arindam, claimed that the issue was the vendor's responsibility, not theirs.
*. *Lack of Alternative Solutions*: When I requested assistance with rescheduling, Arindam stated that it was my responsibility to arrange alternative pet-friendly transportation.
