I, Ajay Kumar, booked the consignment with Delhivery under AWB No. ************** and LR No. *********.
*. The consignment was invoiced on **.**.**** and piked up by your team on **.**.****, for delivery at Pune. At the time of booking a firm delivery commitment was given for **.**.****. Despite that assurance, the delivery was repeatedly rescheduled to **.**.****, then **.**.****, and thereafter on **.**.****, without any satisfactory explanation or proactive communication.
*. Even after persistent follow-up through calls, emails, and digital channels, no credible update or accountability was provided. The record available in the prior notice and email trail states that numerous follow-ups were made over ** days and that the consignment was ultimately delivered only on **.**.**** at *:**PM as per the tracking proof attached, resulting in a delay of ** days beyond the committed date.
*. Upon delivery and inspection, the goods were found to be severely damaged and unusable. The attached photographs show cracks, separation of outer panels, and broken plastic components, and those photographs are relied upon as part of this claim.
*. The transport invoice dated **.**.****, issued by Maruti Nandan Roadlines records a subtotal / trip amount of Rs. *,***/-, IGST of Rs. *,***/-, and a net payable / invoice value of Rs. *,***/-. This amount is specifically relied upon as the documented freight charge incurred in relation to the consignment.
*. My earlier email communications dated **.**.****, **.**.****, **.**.****, and **.**.**** evidence repeated attempts at grievance redressal before issuance of this demand. Those records also show that the grievance was raised specifically on the grounds of delay, damage, breach of service commitment, and inadequate response from Delhivery.
*. In the circumstances, I hereby call upon:
• Refund the freight and shipping charges of Rs. *,***/- (Rupees Seven Thousand Five Hundred Fifty-Two only), being the documented invoice amount paid/payable for the transportation of the consignment.
• Confirm in writing your acceptance of liability for the delayed and damaged handling of the consignment.
• Compensate me for the damage caused to the goods, deficiency in service, negligence, and the avoidable harassment and inconvenience caused by prolonged delay and non-responsive grievance handling; the value of the damaged goods and other incidental losses shall be separately claimed on the basis of supporting records.
