Makemytrip india Pvt Ltd - Deficiency in hotel service

I have booked a hotel Raghavendra, at Rameshwaram, Tamil Nadu through makemytrip.com vide Booking ID: NH************** on **/**/**** paying Rs. *****/- in advance agreeing all the terms & conditions mentioned. But after reaching the destination, we are unable to find such hotel in the location, we have tried contact the hotelier several times and then hotelier took us to a Hotel Brindavan Residency which was not the hotel I have booked and forced us to check-in there. We have asked to first let us check the rooms & hotels but the hotelier said us that his staff will will take **-** minutes for his staff to come who will show us the rooms and in the meantime, trusting the makemytrip and the hotelier we have completed the check-in formalities by filing us the hotel reservation form & gave only * ID proof out of **, than the hotelier demanded the ID proofs of all ** guests travelling, in the answer of which I asked him sometime to provide all the ID proofs. All the rooms allotted to us were stinking, was not at all tidy, garbage were thrown here and there. I have informed all the issues to makemytrip then and there and also informed that we are not check-in to the hotel as we are not getting the same hotel mentioned in the booking voucher. Makemytrip asked us some time to refund the money but after *-* days they are denying for the refund. No escalation matrix is available on their website to escalate the issue.
