Arif Poonawala filed complaint against samsung on Oct 27, 2022
This is with reference to the refrigerator purchased by my client Mr Arif Poonawala on **nd of January **** Which has turned into disaster after paying a huge amount of INR *****/-
My client states that he has been given a defective unit.Since the day they purchased it they have been facing lots of problems like excessive water leakage problems , coldness problems , digital and technical issues and also lots of other problems and issues detected and checked by your company technicians several times.
My client further states that he kept on writing to all.the concern departments but none respond well and just lingered the matter giving hopes. He received is only stereo type mails.
After putting lots of efforts and getting harassed every now and then by changing the parts, everytime technician comes dumps things outside the fridge comes out with another issue , changes different parts of the refrigerator which cost my client INR *****/-. After spending the said amount also the refrigerator was not in good working condition. Females of the house were getting fed up of technicians coming to home every now and then dumping things outside, leaving things as it is which used to give mental trauma in daily life and females of the house end up frustrated
My client has undergone mental trauma which even affected his business and home life. Refrigerator they had bought of high value for comfort which brought more discomfort , wife gets frustrated who in turn gets frustrated on my client which had huge impact on family life and business also got impacted due to the mental trauma they underwent.it disturbed their peaceful life to great extent. My client had kept calling the company and wrote several mails.In turn he got was already fed stereo type mails
Looking to the prevailing condition my client urged you to either replace the refrigerator or give refund which shouldn't be less than INR *****/- as it has disturbed his family life his business as he had spent most of his time calling the company,writing to the company with no positive response. Moreover he spent lots of money for the repair.
My client states that atlast a refund coupon offer was given to him worth Rs *****.He is not satisfied with the amount though he still trusts the company so he has no issue to take the coupon He will still buy Samsung product but as he has spent more than
INR ******/- for the product & for repair and replacement of spare parts, took lots of mental stress and ended up in arguments at home which had negative effect on his business also.Children also had to face problems due to the home environment which was peaceful without this defective refrigerator. He had lost his patience waiting for resolution from the company. He has gone through a lot. A daily use product like Refrigerator is bought for comfort in life but Samsung product had brought discomfort, loss of money, energy, time,peace mental trauma and what not.
I as an advocate of Mr Arif Poonawala and his behalf request you to please refund the said amount of INR *****/-or replace the refrigerator at the earliest if you fail to do that my client has asked me to go for legal proceedings which would also cover complain in consumer forum PG Portal Social media etc as my client is fed up of begging you to repair, replace the refrigerator or give refund.
In such facts and circumstances as stated herein above in the present legal notice I hereby call upon you to replace refund the said refrigerator immediately within ** days from the receipt of this notice failing which I shall be constrained to take shelter from the court of law at your cost.
