I purchased a television from Croma. On the same day of installation, the TV started showing a display problem. I immediately raised a complaint on the same day. However, Croma did not take the complaint seriously.
After six days, a technician visited and inspected the TV. During the inspection, he verbally informed us that there was an issue with the TV. Despite this, he submitted a positive report to Croma, based on which the company denied replacement.
I then escalated the matter to the Grievance Officer. After inspection, the officer also stated that the issue was a minor problem and again rejected the replacement request.
It is unacceptable that a brand-new TV shows a defect from the first day, yet Croma refuses to take responsibility. A new product should not have any issues, minor or otherwise. Denying replacement in such a case is unfair and against customer rights.
