Shine com recruiter Com - Complaint Against Shine com for Misleading Services and Unfair Payment Demands

I would like to file a complaint against Shine.com regarding misleading service practices and unfair demand for additional payments.

I purchased a premium service package from Shine.com by paying ₹****. At the time of purchase, I was not informed about any additional or mandatory charges related to the service.

After the payment, I was assigned a representative who demanded an additional ₹**** for ISO certification and CV modification. This requirement was not disclosed earlier. I clearly informed them that I already have an ATS-friendly CV and that ISO certification is not relevant or mandatory for the roles I am applying for.

Despite this, I was repeatedly pressured to make the additional payment. When I questioned why this was not communicated earlier, I was told that the sales representative was not aware of the total charges. This indicates a lack of transparency and misleading sales practices.

I also sent multiple emails requesting clarification and a refund, but I did not receive any proper response from the company.

Further, I raised a complaint through Voxya. After the complaint was submitted, I immediately received a call from the company apologizing for the inconvenience and assuring me that they would resolve the issue and provide support. However, after that conversation, they again stopped responding and completely ghosted me without providing any resolution.
