** Nov **: Made an international travel booking (** Dec **, * pax) via Cleartrip. The booking was done over telephone after the cleartrip executive shared all the details. Was told booking is refundable if cancelled ** hours prior to departure
** Dec: Called up Cleartrip to cancel the booking as visa got rejected, and i'm told by the agent that the cancellation policy is ** hours prior to departure. I told the company that I acted on information given by your agent hence ClearTrip is misguiding customers. per airlines policy, booking is refundable * hours prior rto departure. The recording of the booking call (** Nov) should prove that I repeatedly clarified about the cancellation dates and only then, consented to the booking.
Since then, I've sent the team multiple emails, called their customer support team and written to heir twitter handle, only to hear the same standard response of the team "still working on the case and will revert in the next **-** hours". It has been more than * weeks since the incident.
