Hi ,
During the sale period I ordered gold coins from amazon from my business account and my personal account.
To confirm whether I am eligible for cashback on all orders I called customer service and the guy told me he can see all the orders are eligible for cashback and I will receive the cashback within * days of order on all the orders.
Also the system while placing the order shown me that the order is eligible for cashback.If I am not eligible for cashback on subsequent orders why thus the system shown me you are eligible for cashback. I would also like to add that after these orders I tried one more order and in that order it did not shown me the cashback and thus did not placed the order. So it can be system error that initially it was showing cashback on all orders and then suddenly it stopped.
If you see the order history I have placed multiple orders and purchased at rate higher than market rate assuming that i will get cashback on all orders and I will be benefited from this purchase.
Now after waiting for * days when I again contacted the Customer service the guy name Steven told me there is no cashback and he cannot help me in any manner. He can just escalate to the concerned department so that this mistake never happens in future.
I told him either give me recording of previous conversation but he told he has the recording but he cannot give me.I asked him to take return of the item or give cashback but he said he cant do anything.
I am making huge losses if i am not getting the cashback as the price of the item is too high than the market rate.
The issue is why the consumer should suffer if the mistake is from the customer service side or the system side.
