Byjus - Cancelling Byjus Tablet Program

A salesperson from Byju’s came to our house towards the end of October and pitched about their NEET program for more than * hour by tricking our ward by asking intentional tough questions. He tried selling a **k+ course but when we told our ward is doing long-term for only a year, he brought it down to **k for one year for the tablet program. He took **** as the down payment and promised the rest of the money i.e. **k can be paid via monthly EMI starting from December and we can return the product if we wanted to. We received the tablet a week later but with IIT JEE SD card and sometime later we got IIT JEE books. We reached out to their customer care and they said they would get it replaced, and we got the new card on **th day but still was not activated. We again chased them for many days since we wanted to try their product but they didn't do it. Since a ton of our time and especially our ward's time was already wasted we have decided to cancel their product and join our ward in Aakash Institute for offline classes and intimated the same to their customer team, they told us they would consider it and we waited for weeks and when we called again they said they can't cancel the program as the ** days have passed. We clearly told them that we haven't received the right SD card and you didn't let us use the new SD card which was delivered just at the end of ** days and was not activated despite our requests, how do you expect us to cancel it within ** days? We even requested them to keep the initial money but stop the auto-debits to cover the tablet cost but they kept refusing while the mentor kept telling us the request will be considered whenever we called. They procrastinated on all our requests just so that they can deduct the money from our account when the time comes and it did. For the last * days, they've been trying to debit the money from our account forcefully which has no balance as we are financially not well of as we already paid for our ward's offline classes. Our ward hasn't even watched a single video as the new SD card was delivered on the **th day and was not activated despite many follow-ups. It is their mistake to have not let us use the product to let us decide to cancel it within ** days. They are simply trying to forcefully get the money from us and causing extreme pain to us and our ward. We want the auto-debits to be canceled as we don't have the money to pay. We want the program to be canceled and our **** rs to be returned along with auto-debits being stopped. Registered mobile number on Byjus- **********. Thanks.
