Vishal Khatri filed complaint against Swiggy on Feb 7, 2025
I am writing to bring to your attention an issue regarding an order I placed on Swiggy with Order ID ***************. When I received my order, I noticed that a few items were missing. Upon raising a complaint with Swiggy, a new order (Order ID ***************) was initiated for the missing items. You can refer the request raised and communication happened with Swiggy team on chat
However, upon receiving this replacement order, the delivery person requested payment. Since I had already made the payment at the time of the original order, I explained that I should not be asked to pay again for the items that were already paid for. During the communication with swiggy representative on chat he confirmed that I am not supposed to pay for this order because tthis is against those missing items. Despite this, the delivery person insisted on payment, leading to the cancellation of the order by Swiggy.
Now, I am being charged for the cancellation of this second order, even though the issue was not due to any fault of mine but rather a mix-up that occurred on your end. This entire incident caused me significant inconvenience, as I had to engage with both customer care and the delivery person for over an hour to resolve the matter.
