EVENT LOG:
*. This order was placed by my sister who is a Medical Officer and resides inside the campus of the Community Health Centre. As usual she provided/updated her mobile number for the delivery partner in the delivery instructions menu. Ever since the order was packed the delivery partner was circling around an unknown location causing a delay.
*. Then I received a call from the delivery agent on a number which is registered to Swiggy, I instructed him to call at the number provided to him via the delivery instruction menu. He refused to call that number and deliberately stalled the delivery.
*. I was contacted by the swiggy support agent to whom I explained the issue. She requested the delivery partner to call on my sister's mobile number which he again refused to do.
*. The swiggy support then called my sister and put the delivery agent on conference. The location of the delivery agent was showing outside the campus. Both the agent and my sister requested him to enter the campus and come to the exact location. He started roaming away from the location and said that he tried his best and couldn't find the campus.
*. The campus is the only community health centre that is in that area for miles and is well known and a large campus. My sister and the swiggy agent then suggested the delivery agent ROHIT to ask around the area to which he started making excuses and said "Nobody knows about this Community Centre and I will not move an inch. If you want your order come and find me".
*. My sister went outside the gate of the campus to guide him and asked where he was? To which he started to give vague descriptions of an area which was not true.
NOTE: The Community Health Centre is the only CHC in a large area and is well known. Multiple orders have been delivered there without any hassle.
*. After this the conference call between my sister, the swiggy support agent and the delivery agent disconnected without any consent while she was attempting to guide the delivery agent to deliver the order.
*. I received a call on my phone number (the registered mobile number) from swiggy which was a blank call, I said HELLO *-* times and nobody responded. After which I received a message stating that the order was cancelled.
All of the statements mentioned above have happened in the presence of the swiggy support chat. I also hope that swiggy has all the logs of the conversations regarding this order to which my statements can be verified or countered.
From the moment this delivery agent was assigned it was a complete mental torture and uncalled wastage of time dealing with something which was supposed to be a routine. Swiggy support is giving rhetorical, out of context replies to my complaints clearly violating my consumer rights.
