I had confirmed ticket (enclosed) issued by Qatar Airways. I reached the Counter * hours before. The Executive asked me the purpose of visiting Turkey. I said this is for Tourism purpose only and showed Sticker VISA (enclosed). Then she asked me many questions such as ‘are you really going for tourism in this pandemic’, ‘how many bags you are carrying’ etc.
Then, the executive asked me about my accommodation. Due to uncertainty in this Pandemic, I booked hotel only for initial four days. After four days, I had an option to stay with my friend who is a Turkish Citizen. I had formal invitation Mail from her (enclosed). I also had Negative Covid Test Report, Insurance, NOC from my Office (PSU under MoP) etc. However, the concerned executive refused to see any document and told me that they have discussed with Immigration and they cannot give me Boarding pass.
I had no other option to cancel the ticket. But they told me that there will be deduction for NO SHOW. It is huge emotional and financial loss for me. Further, NO refund has been made so far even after almost * weeks.
I am very pleased with Voxya. They helped me resolve my issue without much hassle. Very impressed and satisfied.
