Inayath nisha filed complaint against Samsung on Jul 7, 2021
My samsung note ** ultra bought in new york. Suddenly stopped working one fine morning. Never dropped the phone. Or there was no water damage.
Samsung denied standard warranty because it was an overseas product.
I wasn't informed that I will have to purchase international warranty at the time of purchase even though the sales executive of the Samsung showroom knew I was taking it back to India or else it would have been no problem for me to spend another. ** to **$ more.
After waiting * months for Samsung's response.. I wrote to the CEO'S mail.
A case manager was assigned. One mr. Suresh kumar. Who ran diagnostics.
But even after ascertaining that it was a manufacturers fault.
He denied that the phone will be fixed under warranty .
We requested that the matter be escalated to the CEO himself. BcoZ our case is genuine.
Customer was never made aware of an international warranty.
The best flagship device they had to offer failed within * months of use.
And Samsung won't take responsibility for either.
None of our efforts were heeded to.
Such a master brand exists on the basis of customer satisfaction.
Such a major flaw in their system. And the customer has to pay the price. Due to no fault of their own?
How is this fair ?
Their blatant disregard .. And consistently quoting their policy manuals is just disheartening.
