- Zomato purposefully cancelling orders paid already Open
We have placed an order through Zomato. The restaurant that we selected delivers our order to the mentioned address. We have proof as delivery was done before when we selected cash on delivery. We paid the amount while placing the order today and that order was not delivered. After placing the order and after the order status was changed to on the way, the customer care representative called and informed the address is beyond ** km radius and cannot be delivered. When we asked how was it delivered before the customer care representative was not having an answer and informed us you can complain about this anywhere and nothing can be done at their side. We placed cash on delivery order from the same restaurant and it got delivered. My complaint is about Zomato not considering the orders that are paid already and marking them cancelled saying refund will be initiated. The same order is getting delivered when cash on delivery is selected.
The complaint is against an organization who is not ready to consider that the payment has been done and the money is deducted from the customer. The organization is not valuing the customer service and challenging that you can complain anywhere you want. Maybe the customer care executive is aware that the complaints against Zomato will not be resolved or no action would be taken against them.
